Knygnešiai Dir: Jeremiah CullinanePhotoTrailerSynopsisDirectorAn Irish poet and a Lithuanian stage director retrace the steps of the 19th century Lithuanian Book Smugglers, who risked their lives to resist Russification and protect their language from extinction by smuggling books, newspapers, and magazines into Lithuania from Prussia and distributing them along clandestine networks.
